Concept work for a minimalism app that challenges consumer habits by enabling users to track and reduce possessions, curb impulse buys, and discover smarter, need-driven alternatives. Owning less is the point: every object not bought is one less produced, shipped and eventually thrown away – a lighter life that happens to be lighter on the planet.
It starts with a scan. You walk through your flat with the camera on and the app marks every object it recognises, sorting it into an inventory – electronics, household, leisure, clothes. Hardly anyone has ever counted, so ownership becomes a four-digit number before the app asks anything of you. Only then does the letting go begin, one decision at a time, with a score that keeps count of what has left. The tone stays light throughout: short sentences, honest questions, small nudges instead of a lecture on consumption.
